Google Analytics is the tracking script I use to see how many visitors we see at The Drawing Board, and more importantly, how they find us. Here's some of the more intriguing data.
- In the past three weeks, we've had visitors from 16 different countries including Brazil, Costa Rica, and Indonesia. Also, to the visitor from Australia, I want to come visit sometime.
- We've had visitors from 31 different states, but none from Michigan, a scant five minutes from where I grew up. What's the deal Michiganders?
- I get a ton of visits from Indiana. After that, it's Washington D.C., New Mexico, Kentucky, and New York. I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone in D.C. or New York.
The best part about the program is that it lets you see the search terms that people are using to find the blog. Here are my favorites:
- aaron ate pancakes
- veggie drawings
- pastor of pain
- how to kill aaron helman
- drew carey price is right
- brett favre drawings
- ferret in a sweater

I was thinking maybe the people in DC are looking at your sight, becasue it is someone like the FBI and your blogs have a lot of the key words that they are looking for. Just a thought!
Not a bad thought. My blog has fewer readers than yours, but I still have one reader in DC that has returned 7 times. Maybe they have you fingered as an Al Qaeda sleeper.
Better get ahold of Paul and start that little trip a bit early.
